We find this silversmith Demetrius in a labor meeting with his partners.
This man is discussing the message that Paul is preaching is affecting the sales
of goddess Diana's statues in his town.
What and amazing thing this is that Gods messages impacted that town to the point
it became a topic of the idol makers.
I was asking myself are we as the church as ministers full filling or focusing in causing this type of effect in the society we live.
Demetrius and his buddies were at Diana's idol makers union meeting and they were ready to do something. Are we pressing enough in our world.
Look at the keywords spoken on verse 26 that Paul persuaded and induced this people.
Are the words coming out of our mouths convincing people.
We are dealing with truth can we stand in our society with truth that well convince those who don't have the lord in their hearts.
I think many have said well the holy spirit's job is to convict the hearts.
Yes i do agree but there must be truth on the table for the spirit to convict the hearts.
We need a generation that speaks truth of who Jesus is an why hes death and Resurrection.
not hiding in the excuse the holy spirit well take care of it. I myself do not think I can get anyone saved but i can take him or her to the place they can make a decision on truth of Jesus.
We find in the books of acts how this few good men turn cities upside down with the message of the cross how many were saved. one great man said either you get saved or get angry there is no middle ground.
We must get out of the four wall agenda and go to the marketplace,academia to present the truth which is Christ to this generation.
