The Church

The lord has been dealing with me in a topic based on acts 19.
We find this silversmith Demetrius in a labor meeting with his partners.
This man is discussing the message that Paul is preaching is affecting the sales
of goddess Diana's statues in his town.
What and amazing thing this is that Gods messages impacted that town to the point
it became a topic of the idol makers.
I was asking myself are we as the church as ministers full filling or focusing in causing this type of effect in the society we live.
Demetrius and his buddies were at Diana's idol makers union meeting and they were ready to do something. Are we pressing enough in our world.
Look at the keywords spoken on verse 26 that Paul persuaded and induced this people.
Are the words coming out of our mouths convincing people.
We are dealing with truth can we stand in our society with truth that well convince those who don't have the lord in their hearts.
I think many have said well the holy spirit's job is to convict the hearts.
Yes i do agree but there must be truth on the table for the spirit to convict the hearts.
We need a generation that speaks truth of who Jesus is an why hes death and Resurrection.
not hiding in the excuse the holy spirit well take care of it. I myself do not think I can get anyone saved but i can take him or her to the place they can make a decision on truth of Jesus.
We find in the books of acts how this few good men turn cities upside down with the message of the cross how many were saved. one great man said either you get saved or get angry there is no middle ground.
We must get out of the four wall agenda and go to the marketplace,academia to present the truth which is Christ to this generation.

Why The Bible?

I was thinking the other day why the word of God is so contested by many but yet believed by many more.This are just personal reasons to why the bible is the word of God, You are all welcome to add yours to this topic.

1 The bible has stood the test of time.

Think about it, it has been thru persecution thru martyrdom of its saints it was lost for times yet by the providence of God it has stood the test of time.I got news for you books such as the Davinci code will be forgatten by next year because this world is driven by trends and styles and fashion

this brings me to my second reason the bible is relevant it speaks to american youth also to indian farmers to asian woman that is why christianity is made present in all countries you cannot say that about other religions.

he bible speaks to the human heart the human condition that we are sinners and we need a savior that is not by your works but by faith in christ jesus.

3 The word written by many authors inspired by the holy spirit its in total harmony why? cause this man were just secretaries of divine inspiration.

God desire wa always to walk amongs us to make a habitation in our heart. All the way from the garden man failed we sinned yet god had a plan thru abraham the promise of christ was revealed that in christ the promise all nations will be bless because it is not by blood but now Gods children are born of the spirit.
